Ejabah Masterplan & Concept, Makkah, KSA

Design and Design Management working with the Client, Muthmerah, to establish a viable approach on a steeply sloping site with limited access. The key objective was to limit excavation of the mountain to 300,000 cubic metres, a task that could only be monitored by the early implementation of a BIM model to quantify such metrics. A total BUA of 181,600 sq m was proposed on a site area of 18,800 sq m resulting in a very high density with 5 hotels and serviced apartments.
